About Rick Woodward, Acupuncture Specialist

Doctor Woodward is a nationally certified acupuncturist licensed in Colorado since 2002. He received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, an advanced degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver, and his Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego. He has also completed advanced postgraduate study at the China Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center in Beijing, China, set up in 1975 by request of the World Health Organization and the only training center recognized by the WHO. Rick has been working in the medical field for over 25 years including mental health, western medicine, and private practice. Rick dedicated himself to the study of Chinese medicine for its ability to affect health on every level; the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. He is a past Legislative Chairperson for the Acupuncture Association of Colorado's Board of Directors and is currently an instructor at CSTCM in Denver. His practice is integrated and employs a variety of Chinese medicine techniques in order to address each client's specific needs. Rick's approach to healing is built upon Integrity, Authenticity, and Quality, for they are the pillars of his practice.
